We Want You!

Whether you are looking for a new sport to play, wanting to improve your fitness or keen to expand your social circle then perhaps netball might be for you.

The excuse about the ankle injury from 1997 that ended your career is likely growing a little long in the tooth by now, so with the all-clear from the doctor, maybe it’s time to show your kids that Mum still has what it takes to be a netball legend!

Koondrook and Barham Raiders Netball Club is calling on you – past players and new, to join a club that is bringing in the 2021 season with some exciting stuff. 

If brand new club rooms and courts, a fresh look uniform and new coach in Rianna Matuch are not enough to entice you, how does regular social events, and an abundance of support with a family orientated club sound?

A dedicated team will help prepare and train both senior and junior players for what hopes to be a very exciting year in sport, considering last year’s season was over before it began.

New coach Rianna has a wealth of experience – not only as a player – but also as a coach, which has seen her previously coach Geelong Grammar and Bannockburn. 

She has resided in Barham along with her young family for 18 months and her father Steve is coach for A Reserves. It seems this competitive nature is in the blood, which could be an omen for finals!!

So grab a friend or two or register yourself, and make 2021 the year of the great netball comeback, or maybe it will be the year you decide to take up a new sport. It might just be the change you were looking for, or the new social network you didn’t know you needed.
