Wakool D3 earns week off with win

We are up to finals season and congratulations goes to Division Three for having a good win against Barham Services on Saturday in the Semi Finals with 2 rinks up and an overall win of 11 shots.

This enabled them to go straight through to the Grand Final in two weeks time where they will play the winners of Kerang Blue and Barham Services. There will be a practice match played at home on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. so the cobwebs don’t creep in with having the day off!

Our Thursday night Twilight Bash is being very well attended and our winners this week were Andrew, Sharon and Willie winning the chooks. Wakool Hotel 'Kitty Jackpot’ is up to $760 this Friday.

On Sunday Wakool hosted our annual Elders Triples tournament. This is a great social day of bowls and we would like to thank Jason and Marie from Elders for their continued sponsorship and support.

At the end of the day there were three 3 game winners and after a play off the Barham Sports team of Rocky, Patto and Frenchie came up victors over a Wakool side of Rodo, Ally and Andrew.
