Vic Licences to Go Digital

Digital driver's licences are set to become available in Victoria in 2024, with a trial of the new service in Ballarat from July.

Digital licences are already being used in New South Wales and South Australia and the new technology will allow motorists to have a digital version of their driver’s licence on their phones in either the Service Victoria app or the soon-to-be-launched myVicRoads app.

The digital licences will be able to be updated immediately in line with any changes to the licence conditions or changes of address.
