Another frigid morning, 0 degrees as I kicked off my morning walk, 6km down.
I have water on the brain! An article on last weeks Minco meeting has talked of a feasibility study in bypassing the Barmah Choke!
We have a $13 billion dollar plan to restore the balance and yet it cannot operate within the natural constraints! The last 100 years of river regulation hasn't caused this damage, it takes the Murray Darling Basin Plan, madness! The river capacity of the choke has diminished from 8,500 megalitres a day to 7,000 megalitres a day due to the erosion washing dirt from the banks and settling in the river bed.
My brain is a bit sore today and the doubts are creeping in. Shall have to sneak a rest in!
Today’s training total: 6km
Mental Health: 6/10
Blessing: Millions, so many things to be thankful for!
