The Kerang Memorial Hall recently hosted the Kerang Quilt Show, a triennial event organised by the Kerang Quilters Incorporated. The show featured 120 quilt displays of various sizes, from A4 to king size, showcasing the Colours of Kerang.
Most of the quilts displayed were from local artists, but there were also small displays from Sonia Else and Workshop in a Box Quilts, supported by Gail's Patchwork Emporium and Kerang's Every Stitch Counts. Although the quilts were mostly for display only, a few were available for sale. According to show coordinator, Merril Scriven, people usually make quilts to keep or give away.

The high quality of the displays was remarkable, and anyone interested in learning the art of quilting was encouraged to join the Kerang Quilters Incorporated and attend their meetings at the Lion's Den in Kerang every first and third Thursday and third Saturday.
