The current pandemic has clipped everyone’s wings for the time being in relation to International travel. However, we are seeing positive signs of a “travel Bubble” being established between Australia and New Zealand in the near future.

Over the last few weeks our team at My World Travel have been working with our clients to refund or change their travel plans as a result of the pandemic. We have spoken to hundreds of suppliers on our client’s behalf saving them hundreds of hours on the phone. I suppose this is another advantage customers have by having a good local travel agent.

Whilst we can’t travel overseas currently, it’s the perfect time for customers to tick off their bucket list and visit the parts of Australia and New Zealand that they were always going to visit one day but didn’t have time to.

After all, Australia attracts (8.5 million international visitors per year*) so there is plenty to see here. We have everything there from beach holidays on some of the best beaches in the world.

Australia is so diverse with some amazing offerings and all will be well priced once the state boarders re open. Our team at My World Travel work with some amazing suppliers combined with our knowledge of Australia and New Zealand we can create great experiences for our customers.

We have some great holiday ideas for your next adventure right now. Some of our domestic holidays include.

  • Tasmanian Adventures – Visiting the famous Mona Museum and flying to lunch on the rugged West Coast for Lunch in the wilderness and take the famous wilderness experience from Hobart by boat cook your lunch of famous crayfish and Oysters onboard hauled in from the ocean below.
  • Great Rail Adventures – Why not take one of the great Australian Rail Journeys in Australia, The Indian Pacific with time in the Margaret River, The Ghan to the Top End or The Spirit of the Outback. Maybe take the Tranz Alpine train in the South Island of New Zealand from Greymouth to Christchurch after visiting Franz Joseph Glacier
  • Sun and Sand – The Whitsundays is great this time of year where you can lounge around the pool or explore the beach and reef.
  • Fishing and Fun – If you’re a keen fisherman or women maybe take a hell fishing trip to catch some fresh Barra up from Cairns. This is something you will never forget.

Make your bookings early, once boarders are open, we expect there will be a rush of bookers wanting to travel these two great countries. There will also be some great bargains to be had which we will source for our clients.

By booking with an accredited agent, you can book in confidence as the local team is here to help you every step of the way and ensure we can look after you if conditions change.
