The Sebastian Foundation ‘Tour For Their Future’ passed through the region on Sunday, March 14. The ‘Tour For Their Future’ is an eight-day cycling challenge riding from the first weir on the Mighty Murray River in Albury, NSW to where the River runs into the ocean at Sugars Beach, Goolwa, SA. Riders will cover approximately 1033 km which is an average of 130km per day.

The Sebastian Foundation was formed in 2013 by singer Guy Sebastian and his wife Jules. The Sebastian Foundation has school programs that aim to make a difference in the mental health of adolescents, helping them to understand and survive issues such as low self-esteem, trauma, abuse, bullying/friendship difficulties, addiction, eating/body image issues, depression /anxiety, loss/grief at an extremely vulnerable time in their lives, as well as supporting young girls, domestic violence shelters, hospitals, including music therapy, mentoring programs for teenagers, women who have experienced domestic violence and more.
