It doesn’t get much more Aussie than pitching a thong down a green lawn against the Murray. Not to be confused with the US thong throwing, the 4th Annual Barham Holiday Park family-friendly Thong Throwing Championship was filled with highs and lows. From fantastic throws scuttled by trees, competitors’ agony at falling short (myself included) to the dizzying heights of longest-distance glory.
Birthday boy Greg Wright of Ballarat came home with a commanding win to take out the adult male section, with winning adult female being Stacy Grech, and Tom Brennan dominating in the kids category.
