The 2025 AFL football grandfinal has just taken place at the MCG, one of the biggest sport stadiums in the world. The MCG located in Yarra Park, Melbourne has been the centre of some great sporting events over the years, not only AFL football, but also International Cricket events, the 1956 Olympic Games and 2006 Commonwealth Games. Currently the stadium holds just over 100,000 people at full capacity. I well remember attending an ANZAC day football match with Collingwood and Essendon playing at the MCG with 80,000 + people present, the enthusiasm of the crowd and good footy produced a great occasion.
