Easter Tennis Tournament

The annual Cohuna Lawn Tennis Club Easter Tournament has wound up after four days of blue skies and brilliant play.

Play kicked off on Good Friday and continued through to Easter Monday, with around 182 players and 340 entries, exceeding last year’s figures.

Tournament director, Jason Hensley, said the weekend was a successful event, made possible with the help and support of junior and senior players, parents and community members.


GOOD FRIDAY Appeal

Cohuna’s Good Friday Appeal effort contributed $11,566 to the regional tally of $5,261,913 and the state-wide tally of $23,368,724. Leitchville raised $12,883 and Gunbower $2,984 (figures as at 11.30pm Good Friday).

Cohuna Farmers and Makers Easter Market

The Cohuna Farmers and Makers Easter Market provided locals and visitors with a bonus market with entertainment by Elise Drake and games for young and old.
The next market will be held on Sunday, April 28.
