Strzboer Goat Stud is returning from the Sydney Royal Easter Show with a haul of ribbons and a herd of goats that have done them proud.
The Smith’s stud entered 12 goats in the Show, with seven finishing with either Age Group Champion, Reserve Champion or 2nd in Class.
On their final day of showing, Strzboer T2269 was awarded Supreme Champion Buck, Grand Champion Standard Boer Buck, and Kid Champion Boer Buck.
Other awards were Junior Champion Coloured Boer Buck, Senior Champion Coloured Boer Buck, Reserve Junior Champion Standard Buck, Junior Champion Standard Boer Doe, and winner in Class B Kid Standard Doe.
“Our experience at Sydney 2023 has exceeded all of our expectations and dreams,” said Dean Smith.
The prize haul is a culmination of 15 years breeding Boer goats, 10 of those in Cohuna.
