I need a rest, my black eyes were very evident in my video with Phil, this is the early indications from my brain that all is not well, the result of a brain injury in 2013. I have an interview planned with Tanya Black in Cohuna, some more painting which cannot wait, yay for small business!
It was fantastic to talk to Tanya, having never met her had graciously opened her home and let me do a video. Videos are often very challenging for people, I think it makes people vulnerable, I feel it too but I know why I do it and hey I am who I am, take it or leave it.
Interview down and painting and fit-out went to plan.
On heading home I had some inspiration to contact another farmer Skeeta Verhey. I had met Skeeta once before writing an article on the Guttrum Forest. He too agreed, "anything to help the cause"
Our setting was Les and Helen Bray's farm, this picturesque location adjoining the Guttrum forest and the Murray River has been leased by Skeeta for 8 years.
Home for a quick bike ride as part of the walking cross-training and then off to bed to rest my brain, easier said than done!
Today’s training total: Bike ride 10km
Mental Health: 8/10
Blessing: Millions, so many things to be thankful for, including all the wonderful people giving me a hand and getting in touch!
