A busy day greeted me, some work at the office, a newspaper never sleeps! It was then on to Phil O'Neill, avocado and dairy farmer, take two of Phil's interview as last nights didn't work!
I found Phil at his home block cleaning up, we talked amongst the redgums while listening to the crackling of the fire. I admire Phil perspective on holistic management, his love of his cows, environment and the deep respect he has for the indigenous culture embedded in the landscape. One of the many reasons to walk for water!
Leaving Phil in his natural paradise I travelled home to get some walking in. My backdrop for today's walk was the Guttrum forest, I find it so calming and also uplifting walking amongst the trees and the songs of the birds.
Tendons feel not too bad, after today's walk, off to do some painting for my wife!
Today’s training total: 14km
