April Fools has passed and with it the tongue in cheek article regarding the Sand Slug. The Sand Slug has been blamed by streamologists and the basin authorities as the primary cause for the reduction in the Barmah Choke’s delivery capacity.
The Sand Slug article has highlighted the radio talents of The Bridge’s own Ali Bohn. Already familiar with radio, Ali has been giving weekly updates on the headlines to ABC Mildura Swan Hill for several years.
ABC Ballarat picked up the Sand Slug article and after a lengthy chat with the ABC’s Nicole Chvastek, the world now knows the blood curdling call of the fabled Sand Slug.
