Ryan Bassett Pioneer Debut

On Sunday, Koondrook Barham Raiders' Ryan Bassett made his debut for the Bendigo Pioneers Under 18s at Ballarat's Mars Stadium, where a double-header between Greater Western Victoria Rebels and Bendigo Pioneers was held. 

The Coates Talent Under 18s Girls played first, followed by the Coates Talent Under 18s Boys game. 

The Greater Western Victoria Rebels won against the Bendigo Pioneers by 13 points in the Under 18 Girls game. 

In the Under 18 Boys game, the Bendigo Pioneers secured a win by gaining the lead in the match's final moments, defeating the Greater Western Victoria Rebels by one point. 

Bassett, a 17-year-old Raiders player who stands at 190.8cm, made his appearance in the Pioneers defence during the match after starting on the interchange bench. Wearing jersey number 29, he made three disposals and one tackle.
