Local police reports on criminal activity.

Cohuna
- Between September 21 and 26, an offender has gained entry to a business in King George Street, Cohuna. Nil forced entry, but premises was locked. An amount of cash was stolen. Police are looking at all avenues of enquiry.
- On September 26 around 1am, an offender has gained entry by forcing their way into a King George Street, Cohuna address, where they have stolen cash.
Kerang
- On September 30 between 7am and 8pm, two young male offenders have stolen a work vehicle from a business in Bendigo Road, Kerang. They have then driven the stolen vehicle towards Swan Hill, where police have attempted to intercept them. They have failed to pull over. Stop sticks have been deployed along Murray Valley Hwy, which were effective. The stolen vehicle has continued on flat tyres, dangerously passing other vehicles. The stolen vehicle has rolled approximately 2-3km south of Swan Hill. One of the offenders has then stolen a vehicle from a local caravan park, attempting to evade police. The stolen vehicle has then rammed police vehicle, then crashed into a tree. One police officer was injured due to this ramming. Both offenders have been arrested. There is no excuse for this disgraceful behaviour, putting people’s lives at risk.
