  • Between 6pm Saturday, September 30 and 9am the following day, a black Giant bike was stolen from a site at a caravan park in Cohuna.
  • Between 10pm Monday, September 25 and 10pm Wednesday 27th, offenders have accessed the rear yard of a home in Danahers Road, Cohuna and stolen various items from the yard, including a car stereo, battery charger, generator, power tools and tattoo gun.
  • Over the past month, the victim from Leitchville was looking at purchasing a shipping container. After contacting a company online, he paid a deposit and waited for the container to arrive, which it didn’t. It was later found that the seller had disconnected the phone number and shut down the website.
  • At about 10am on Sunday, October 1, police intercepted a vehicle on the Murray Valley Highway at Kerang. The 24-year-old male driver was found to have a cancelled driver licence. An oral fluid test indicated the presence of an illicit substance. Police located two sets of stolen registration plates, a controlled weapon and a substance believed to be methylamphetamine. Further checks revealed the plates on the car were also stolen and the vehicle itself was unregistered. The vehicle was impounded, the male arrested, interviewed, charged and bailed to attend court at a later date.
  • Between September 14 and 28, the victim states that several animals have been stolen from a paddock off McKenzie Road, Myall. These include an angus yearling bull, a full-grown angus steer, three black angus heifers, a speckle park cross heifer, a black baldy heifer and an angus x simmental heifer.
  • On Thursday, September 28 at about 12pm, Koondrook Police intercepted a 49-year-old female driver from NSW after she was detected travelling at an alleged speed of 115kmh on the Murray Valley Highway at Kerang. She was also found to be driving under the influence of alcohol with an alleged reading of 0.056.
  • On Sunday, October 1 at about 8pm, Koondrook Police intercepted a vehicle travelling on the Cohuna Koondrook Road. The 49-year-old male driver was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol with an alleged reading of 0.05.
