• Between 10pm on October 17 and 5am on October 18, unknown offender/s have attempted to jimmy the front door of a mechanical business on Gibbons Drive, Cohuna, but have not been able to access the space. The owner has arrived at work to find the front fence has been pushed open, and several tool trucks have been opened and rummaged through. At this stage, it is still being determined what has been stolen.
• On October 18, Cohuna Secondary College had two of its back sheds broken into overnight. Chains had been cut from both sheds and school equipment, including power tools have been taken.
• Between 10pm on October 17 and 1pm on October 18, an unknown person attempted to gain entry to a Boundary Street, Kerang property. The owner went to feed her dog around lunch time on the 18th and couldn’t open her back door. She arranged someone to come and fix the door and it was then noticed that someone had attempted to break in, leaving tool marks on the metal sliding door. A couple of days later, the owner has noticed that fly wires were removed off five external windows, which is when she reported it to police.
• On October 21, the vice chairman of the Cemetery Trust has arrived at Kerang Pioneer Cemetery to discover a tree has had multiple branches broken over the previous weekend. Offenders have also caused damage inside the female public toilets.
