Police Report - October 16, 2025

Criminal damage & weapons charges: Emergency services responded to an incident in Cohuna early Tuesday 14th October following reports of a dispute. A vehicle was allegedly driven into the side of a premises on Cullen Street at around 1am, causing significant damage. Police arrested an 18-year-old man nearby a short time later. He was charged with multiple offences, including reckless conduct endangering serious injury, possession of a controlled weapon without excuse, possession of a prohibited weapon, criminal damage, and other related charges. The man was granted bail and is due to appear before the Kerang Magistrates’ Court on 15 January 2026.
Burglary: Between 5.30pm on Friday the 10th of October and 10.30am the following day, it appears offenders have attended a property on Tuck Road Kerang. It is reported that at this location a stihl chainsaw has been stolen from a vehicle.
Damage: Between October 6 and 10, it is reported that offenders have attended a facility on Wyndham Street Kerang and damaged machinery in what appears to be an attempt at stealing fuel.
Burglary: Between October 3 and 6, it is reported that offenders attended a business in Punt Road Koondrook. It appears offenders have forced entry to a shed and stolen a stihl 661 chainsaw. A jacket with the business logo was also reported stolen.
