GANNAWARRA

Theft: Between April the 27th and May the 6th, a battery unit and control panel have been stolen from a pump shed on Grigg Road Koondrook.

SWAN HILL

Drug possession: At about 2.45am on Saturday the 9th of May, police intercepted a vehicle in Lake Boga.  The 23 year old driver and vehicle were searched and a quantity of what is alleged to be methylamphetamine was located. They were interviewed, charged, and bailed to attend court at a later date.

Vehicle search: At about 3am on Sunday the 10th of May, police intercepted a vehicle on Curlewis Street Swan Hill. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a quantity of cash, what is alleged to be ketamine, amphetamine and cocaine were located along with associated items.  The 20 year old driver and 19 year old passenger were arrested, interviewed, charged with offences including trafficking cocaine and ketamine and possessing amphetamine. They were bailed to attend court at a later date.

Cemetery Theft: Between Thursday April the 30th and Saturday May the 2nd, a Saint Anthony statue has been reported stolen from a plot at the Swan Hill cemetery. The statue is bronze or copper in colour and has an estimated value of $5000. 

KERANG

At about 9.50pm on Sunday the 10th of May 2026 a collision occurred between a silver SUV and b-double truck carrying hay on the Murray Valley Highway Kerang.

Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage which may assist with investigations from any vehicle travelling north or south on the Murray Valley Highway, Kerang, near the weighbridge around that time.  

Police are also seeking to identify the driver of a white vehicle, who is believed to have avoided the collision, and may be able to assist with the investigation.
