Police Report - July 30, 2026
GANNAWARRA
Theft: Between 4pm on Monday, 20th July and 8am the following day, offenders have attended Buckland Road, Koondrook. Diesel appears to have been stolen from a Massey Ferguson tractor and a heavy-duty tow chain from a Caterpillar grader.
Collision: At about 10.20am on Sunday, 26th July, a vehicle was travelling east on the Kerang Murrabit Road. The 74-year-old driver appears to have lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree. The driver attended the local hospital. At the time of reporting, his injuries were not listed as life threatening.
SWAN HILL
Theft: At about 5.50pm on Tuesday, 21st July, the victim believes they have accidentally dropped a card wallet in Beveridge Street, Swan Hill. The following day, the victim received notification that one of her cards had been used to make purchases to the value of $1500. The cards were cancelled. Police are investigating where the card was used in an attempt to identify the person responsible.
Accident: Just after 3pm on Sunday, 26th July, a 65-year-old male was riding a motorcycle on Oppenlander Road, Goschen when it appears he lost control on the gravel road. Ambulance and police attended the scene. The rider was transferred to a hospital in Melbourne in a serious but stable condition.
