Cohuna

  • Between 4pm on July 14 and 3pm on July 16, offender/s have forced entry to a house in Sampson Street, Cohuna. Within the house, offender/s have located keys to a white Triton 4x4 utility.  After stealing items from within the house, offender/s have then driven off in stolen ute. Ute contains many tools and a 400L diesel fuel pod (full). The vehicle has a large black coloured ‘N’ on both sides of ute. It also has black Sunraysia rims fitted. 
  • At about 8.30pm on July 13, a male driver was intercepted along the M.V. Hwy, east of Cohuna. On checking the driver’s licence details, a strong smell of cannabis was noticeable coming from the vehicle. On searching the car further, two bags of cannabis were located, totalling over 100 grams of cannabis. Offender was detained and conveyed back to Cohuna Police Station for processing. 

Kerang

  • At about 3.15pm on July 14, a red mini-van was intercepted in Park Road, Kerang. A strong odour of cannabis could be detected. A search of the occupants, under the Drugs Poisons and Control Substances Act was conducted. A female passenger was arrested after locating cannabis in her shoulder bag. She was conveyed to the Kerang Police Station for processing.
  • At about 4pm on Friday, July 14, a female has attended a liquor outlet in Nolan Street. She has walked into the store and removed three bourbon Woodstock cans and placed them in her bag, concealing them. She has then selected a cheap bottle of wine and proceeded to the checkout, where she has paid for wine only. A short time later, staff became aware of theft and reported to police. The female offender was identified and will be getting a visit from police, where she will be arrested. 
  • On July 12 at about 8.55pm, the female offender has entered a Nolan Street supermarket and selected numerous items. She has attended at self-serve area and paid for most items except three grocery items. Staff have identified offender and police informed. She will be arrested and processed.
