Police Report - July 2, 2026

BULOKE

Attempted Burglary: Between June 18th and 22nd, offenders have attended the Donald cemetery and attempted to force entry to sheds at that location. No entry was gained but small items located outside the sheds have been stolen.

Trailer theft: Between 1am and 6.30am on Monday 22nd June, a grey trailer was reportedly stolen from a Napier Street, Donald address. The trailer was found in the Ararat area mid-morning the same day. The registration plate had been removed from the trailer.

GANNAWARRA

Graffiti: Between 7pm on Thursday 25th June and 7.30am the following day, offenders have marked graffiti (offensive language) on a vehicle and driveway of a property in Mills Street Kerang.

Attempted Deception: On Thursday 25th June, a Koondrook resident was contacted by a person telling them that their bank account was being scammed and asked them to withdraw a large sum of cash. The “almost” victim withdrew the cash and was waiting for further information when a family member visited and saw the cash and asked what it was for. The offender contacted the home to arrange collection of the cash when the family member intervened, and the offender hung up. This is not the first incident that police have been advised of. The scammers are very convincing and can be also intimidating. Please speak to family, especially those that may be living alone and let them know not to trust anyone to be who they say they are on the phone.

Caravan Theft: Between 9.30am and 12pm on Friday 26th June, a white 2011 Paramount GT102 caravan has been reportedly stolen from near the Koondrook boat ramp off Koondrook Track. It was bearing Victorian registration starting W712** at the time of the theft.

ROBINVALE

Damage: Between 6pm on Thursday 25th June and 5am the following day, offenders have attended a public toilet in Ronald Street, Robinvale and shovelled dirt into the toilet bowl, clogging the toilet.

SWAN HILL

Attempted theft from motor vehicles: Just after midnight on Sunday 28th June, offenders have attended a property in Makepeace, Street Swan Hill and attempted to enter vehicles parked at the address. A couple of hours later another two vehicles, a couple of doors down, were also targeted.
