•     On Sunday night, January 15, the victim parked his red Subaru Brumby ute on the nature strip outside his house in Findlay Ave, Leitchville. The victim noticed that his ute was stolen at 6am on Monday, January 16. The vehicle was believed to be unlocked and uninsured. Local police are checking through CCTV footage within the vicinity in an attempt to identify any offender/s.
•     On Monday, January 16, a fire burnt 6 to 8 hectares at a property on the Kerang-Macorna Rd, Macorna. The farmer, who was slashing long grass on his property, has accidently started the fire when his slasher came into contact with some fencing wire in the long grass. Seven local CFA units attended, with the assistance of air support, and quickly brought the fire under control. The fire was contained within that property.
