Police Report - January 15, 2026

BARHAM

At around 2 am Monday January 12, 400Kg of batteries were stolen from the local Rural Fire Service radio site. The main radio was also stolen, rendering the site offline until replacements arrive. Anyone who witnessed a vehicle in the area at the time of the incident is encouraged to contact the Barham Police Station. 

GANNAWARRA

Cohuna Police are seeking assistance from the public in relation to an assault at the Cohuna Apex Park on New Years Eve at approximately midnight, near the bridge and skate park. 

A male victim was grabbed by another male, knocked to the ground and assaulted, the male victim was helped by friends and taken to the Cohuna Hospital.

A $250 bottle of whiskey was stolen from a Cohuna Supermarket on Thursday 1st January 2026 and we would appreciate your assistance in identifying the male captured in these images who may be able to assist us with our enquiries.
