GANNAWARRA

  • Between January 25 and 26 a vehicle has been stolen from the side of the Murray Valley Highway, Cohuna after breaking down. The vehicle was involved in an incident in the Echuca area and later located at an address on the outskirts of Cohuna. A 19-year-old male was interviewed in relation to the theft and ammunition offences, and released pending further enquiries.       
  • At about 11.30pm on Thursday, February 1, a fence has been damaged at a property on Wyndham Street Kerang.
  • Just before 5pm on Thursday, February 1, police were patrolling Hawthorne Court, Kerang. A female in the street pulled down her pants and exposed her buttocks, also gesturing police with ‘the middle finger’.  She was spoken to by police, giving a false name on numerous occasions and using indecent language towards the officers. There were witnesses to this offensive behaviour. The female is expected to receive a summons to attend court at a later date.
