• Aggravated Cruelty. Due to lengthy investigation, this October incident has just been released. A male person in the Mead area has threatened police with a live Eastern Brown snake.   Police attended the address for a welfare check. On arrival, they located a recently deceased cow in the driveway. Police were then confronted with an intoxicated male who was holding a live snake and approaching police in an aggressive manner. The male has been charged as he does not possess permits to have wildlife in his possession. People need to care for their pets and wildlife. 
• On February 14 at a Reaper Lane, Tragowel property, offender/s have driven into a paddock where a tractor and trailer were parked containing chemicals and assorted equipment. Offender/s have stolen 12 x 20L drums of ‘Hassen’, a petrol transfer pump and assorted tools. Police have processed the scene and are asking for any witnesses.
