Cohuna

    Between November 25 and 27, an Amazone multi disc Catros 3001 was stolen from a property on Cohuna Island Road, Cohuna. 

    At about 4am on Wednesday, November 29, the victim was woken by a car alarm going off in Market Street, Cohuna. They went outside but couldn’t see anyone, but later that morning in daylight, the victim discovered that the vehicle had been tampered with.

Leitchville 

    On Wednesday, November 29, police executed a search warrant at an address in Leitchville. Cannabis was located at the address. The 45-year-old male occupant was arrested, interviewed, charged and bailed on drug related offences. On Thursday, November 30, police executed a search warrant at a second Leitchville address. Cannabis was located at the address. The two occupants of the home were arrested and interviewed in relation to possessing cannabis and cultivating a narcotic plant. They will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Kerang

    At about 9.30pm on Saturday, December 2, police intercepted a vehicle off Tate Drive, Kerang. The driver returned a positive preliminary breath test. A search of the vehicle found what is believed to be GHB and an air pistol. The female driver and male passenger were arrested and conveyed back to the Kerang Police Station. A subsequent search of the female located a quantity of what is believed to be methylamphetamine. The 27-year-old female driver was charged in relation to trafficking GHB and methylamphetamine, and remanded in custody.

    Between November 24 and 27, offenders have stolen a fire extinguisher from a health facility in Burgoyne Street, Kerang and sprayed it around, including themselves, and then left near the train tracks. 

Tragowel

    At about 2pm on Saturday, December 2, CFA and police attended a property on Kerang Macorna Road, Tragowel. It appears hay being stored in a hayshed has self-combusted, catching fire to hay and the surrounding paddock.
