Local police reports on criminal activity.

Victoria Police
Gannawarra Shire
- On August 16 at about 4.15pm, two male employees were working at a dairy farm in Koroop. The males were in the pit milking when one male brushed passed the other. The victim in this matter has asked the offender to apologise. A verbal argument started. The offender has then hit the victim with a clenched fist to the head. A physical altercation erupted. Both males were separated by other staff. Victim reported incident to police. Offender was interviewed and a brief of evidence will be prepared. (If only we were smart enough to talk things through instead of resorting to physical violence.)
- Between August 11 and 14 at a work site along the Kerang-Murrabit Road, Goulburn Murray Water had left a ‘plate packer’ at a work site. The site was surrounded by security fencing. Offender/s have made their way through the fencing and stolen the packer. It was fitted with a Honda motor. (Reminder – don’t go leaving valuables on building sites overnight or on weekends.)
