On this day – August 23, 1913 (111 years ago), the first issue of the Cohuna Farmers’ Weekly was printed and sold for three pence. The first three issues were printed under the banner of the Cohuna Cultivator, which was scrapped soon after in favour of the Cohuna Farmers’ Weekly. Proprietor and editor George Terry published from a tin shed in King Edward Street.
