BARHAM

About 1.45pm Tuesday 15/07/2025 a 48-year-old man was arrested in Barham and taken to the Barham Police Station.  The man was charged with Break Enter and Steal and Stealing.  The man was granted bail and will appear before the Deniliquin Local Court on 10/09/2025 in relation to the matter. 

Between 9pm Tuesday 15/07/2025 and 5pm Wednesday 16/07/2025 a garden hose and reel was stolen form a house in Chester Street, Barham.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Barham Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. 

GANNAWARRA

Theft: Between 2pm and 2.15pm on Monday the 14th of July, it is reported that offenders attended a property on Mawsons Road Cohuna and stole an angle grinder, rattle gun and radio. 

Damage: At about 5.30pm on Friday the 18th of July, windows at the Kerang Magistrates Court were damaged. The female responsible has been identified and is yet to be interviewed by police.

Deception: In early July, it is reported that the victim was contacted by a person on the phone multiple times, purporting to be from the bank.  They convinced the victim to transfer a total of over $140,000 from her account, into an account number provided by them over several days. Swan Hill detectives are investigating.

BULOKE

Burglary: Between 7.30pm on Thursday the 17th of July and 12.40pm the following day, it is reported that offenders have forced entry to a building at a recreation area on Hammill Street, Donald and stolen a small safe.

Theft: At about 5pm on Friday the 18th of July, it is reported that the victim was driving towards his address in Sea Lake, when he saw a male loading plants into a vehicle.  The victim approached the male and stopped him taking allegedly, his plants. A theft investigation is ongoing.
