11 Players turned up with three sickies staying home with the flu, but three in the 90s turned up, and while they are turning up for a night of cards we will keep going.

Gwen Campbell won the ladies with a score of 3280 to easily win the ladies. Tiger Des Shelley won the men’s with a score of 2750, but with the last 4 hands of the night, teamed with Gwen to score 850, and that got him over the line. 

The lucky door prize went to a newcomer in Gracie Craddock. The mystery number of 1540 went to Betty McLoughlan and Barry Stacey. No one won the jackpot, and one player asked Gwen how she plays, to which Gwen gave her some advice. During the night we gave some help to newcomer Gracie, who always has good cards but just a bit tentative on how to play them, so we asked other players if it was alright to advise her. The answer was yes. Let’s not forget we play for the big money $3.00.
