It was a glorious day for tennis at the cluBarham tennis courts on Saturday, March 20. The courts were in immaculate condition as always, thanks to David Disher and his team of greenkeepers. It was great to be able to hold the day whilst adhering to all COVID-19 measures, ensuring the safety of the players and their family and friends who barracked courtside.

Division 1 saw a dominant Koondrook side hold a strong lead over a consistent Murrabit through the day. Koondrook 63 defeated Murrabit 44.

Division 2 was a tenacious battle between Barham Navy and Murrabit. Scores were tight up to the mixed, but Barham steamed home in the end. Murrabit 58 lost to Barham Navy 85.

Division 3 exhibited another tense match between club rivals, Kerang Green and Kerang White. In the end, victory prevailed to Kerang White. Kerang White 85 defeated Kerang Green 57.

Juniors was a very close game for the kids, Kerang winning marginally over Gunbower. It is great to see so many kids getting involved in tennis and we hope to see more and more kids taking to the courts in the future.
