The Yellow Rumped Thornbills are delightful little birds that sing a distinctive song described as “twittering, musical, sweet and high-pitched”. I enjoyed standing still and just looking and listening to these birds as they flittered amongst the leaves of the eucalypts for some minutes in the stillness of the morning (related to the “Look to the Birds” article attached above).
