Murray River Council will have representation at this year’s Local Government NSW Tourism Conference to keep up-to-date with industry developments and connect with state, federal and regional decisionmakers in the sector.
Council resolved to attend the event at its ordinary meeting this week.
“Tourism plays a huge part in the Murray River economy, so it’s important that we have a presence at these types of event to discuss current issues and learn about industry innovation and trends,” Mayor Cr Chris Bilkey said.
The LG NSW Tourism Conference is a once-a-year opportunity to network with industry leaders- and this year is even more important given the devastation caused by the COVID 19 pandemic.
The Local Government NSW Tourism Conference will run from the 26 to 28 May 2021 in Port Macquarie.
