If There is No Show, There Will Be No Show

The Annual General Meeting for the Barham Koondrook and District Show Committee was held on Tuesday, March 19. Unfortunately, the meeting was unable to form an executive to run the show this year. It was decided to adjourn the meeting until Tuesday, April 16 at 7.00pm in the Loddon Room at the Club. If we cannot form an executive at this meeting, the committee will go into recess for one year. An attempt will then be made to reform the committee next year. This means that there will be NO SHOW THIS YEAR. 

We urgently need volunteers to come to the next meeting willing to take on the positions as the executive on the committee. The existing executive will be willing to be on hand to assist the new members to learn their roles and take them through the details of running a show. It is not really that scary. We operate under the ASC of NSW and VAS Victoria and these organisations are very happy to assist with any problems and enquiries you may have. They are very helpful and easy to talk to.

The Barham Koondrook Show has been a local institution for over 60 years and has been run by enthusiastic local volunteers over those years. It would be a huge shame if the show was to cease to exist. A very important event in our community will be greatly missed.
