Historical Society Project Completed

With the restrictions of COVID-19, weather events and the recent flooding of the property of the Barham Koondrook Historical Society, the ‘Top Dressing Project’ has finally been completed after receiving a $3,500 grant in October 2021 under the Gannawarra Shire Grants Program 2021 – Community Support Category.

This funding was used to provide top soil for the property of the Historical Society in Koondrook, lawn seed and potting mix. The ground was levelled and pot holes filled in. This project now allows ease of access between the buildings and the toilet located at the rear of the property for the members and visitors to the Society.

The Historical Society members gratefully acknowledge the Gannawarra Shire Council for providing this funding to assist with improving the environment of a local community organisation.
