Here For Langy

A recent motorbike accident on January 17 has forever changed the life of a young Koondrook man James Lang, 19.

The youngest son of Norm and Trish Lang and brother to Jordan, James has been a highly active member of the community, from Junior Gannawarra Youth Council member, Skate Park Committee President and awarded the Australian Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award.

James will be adjusting to life in wheelchair, he has been moved to the Austin Hospital to start rehab and is said to be, positive but just runs out of steam later in the day.

The community has launched an array of fundraising activities to support the family. Stubbies holders, tee shirts, a pool fundraiser, donation tins and even a float down the Murray. The float, held on Australia Day raised over $5,600.

The Lang family wish to convey their sincere gratitude and thanks for the overwhelming love, support and generosity shown by the community.
