From the Lions Den: January 12, 2023

Welcome to the new year. 2023 has arrived. New hopes, dreams and challenges will be arriving for us all as the year rolls on.

Just a short note to say thank you to all the families who attended our annual Christmas Eve Mardi Gras. It’s homely having our local communities get together as a group and bring on the festive season.

Santa and his helpers had a very busy night getting the gifts to the children. Ho, ho, ho!

Thank you to the local businesses that gave donations towards the night, very much appreciated, and the family members of the Lions team, who also pitched in and helped with the setting up, stalls etc. Also, our Lions team, well done.

Congratulations to the raffle winners and spinning wheel winners. Generally, thank you one and all.
