What an amazing day! A random post from Win News Bendigo reporter Madeline and we have a TV interview. Madeline suggested getting some farmers and community members a few phone calls to people I have only met a few times and presto! I'm blown away by their support and a shared vision for my walk, to unite Northern Victoria and Southern NSW is amazing, they have so many similarities and are both being devasted by this plan! I love their passion and support!
The Eureka Flags are flying all over the countryside, "When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty" is scrawled on placards, it feels electric when I meet these people, is change in the air I wonder?
The news article was broadcast on Win, I love the piece and it's interesting to see the bits they use. My wife says I walk funny, fair call. I was once questioned in a Melbourne pub if I was drunk when stone-cold sober "it's my farmer waddle" I told them, nothings changed. I did ask my wife how many people will think "with a walk like that how's he going to make it 303kms?" guess they'll have to find out!
Today’s training total: Rest day
