A new and exciting era of Barham Bowling

The new cluBarham bowling facilities are near opening. Jason Wallace, cluBarham CEO said, “We are so close to being ready to open. Firstly, for our financial bowling members to try out the new greens, and then for a new and exciting era, not only for the Barham Bowling Club, but also to provide more tourism and visitors to the region, which is a great economic benefit to all businesses.”   

There has been a tremendous amount of work achieved by many to realise the new greens opening. “It is terrific to see the many stakeholders come together and be united in forging a new era for Barham Bowling Club,” said Jason. “Working closely with the bowls executive over the past 15 months (Reg and Jean) has placed us in a great position to meet the needs of our bowling members. Nicholas Jarman recently commenced the new bowls co-ordinator role and will work closely with the bowls committee, Bowls Victoria and Bowls Australia to drive bowling membership and events. 

“A special note of appreciation to our local trades and David Drake for working through the many interruptions over the journey. There will be more to say in appreciation as cluBarham will host a grand opening dinner scheduled for September 16.” 

At this stage, the soft opening for members try out is scheduled for mid-August 2022. 

All new members are most welcome. Commencing in October will be a new professional bowling coach, Brody Harker.
