Murrabit Group School’s Eve Murray has broken a 27-year-old record in the 12/13 Girls Discus event at the School Sports Victoria Mallee Division Athletics held in Swan Hill on Monday, September 16.
Eve’s impressive throw of 25.90m breaks the previous record of 25.56m by 34cm set back in 1997.
Eve was presented with a certificate to recognise her achievement.
