This week saw the seniors heading to Kerang along with Blue Juniors; whilst Gold Juniors played at home. All teams had solid wins for Round 3. This week we have the Grand final rematch for the seniors; hosting Koondrook at Cohuna. That’s sure to be an entertaining hit out.

Junior development squad tennis is underway and everyone is welcome to attend. The club now runs “Hotshots” tennis for our junior group and skills training for the older juniors all commencing at 9:00am on Saturday mornings. The club has spare racquets and the cost is $3 for a Saturday session.

Twilight Tennis is up and running. If you are available to fill in give Mary Rodwell a call. Twilight runs on a Tuesday night from 6pm.

Round 3 – Seniors (Kerang Vs Cohuna)

The men’s sets were very even with two sets to one and just one game between them in favour of Kerang, whilst the women were similar coming out two sets to one and 10 games up. By the end of the mixed we added another five games to the bank finalizing the account with a 14 game victory. Well done to Darren Gately and Mary Rodwell for winning all their sets for the day.

Round 3 – Juniors Cohuna Gold vs Murrabit
The Gold Juniors were strong this week in the singles collecting all four sets. The doubles were incredibly even with two sets going to each team 18 games apiece; making the singles games the difference – 16 games. Well done to Angela Warren for winning all of her sets for the day.

Round 3 – Juniors Cohuna Blue vs Kerang
The Blue Juniors had a mixed bag in the singles with two sets each, and secured a 6-game lead. The mixed secured the victory with 3 sets to 1 win and a further 10 games. Well done to Zephan Hensley and Taylor Lacy for winning all of their sets for the day.
