Ben Maw has tendered his resignation as Chief Executive Officer at Cohuna District Hospital.

The Board of Directors regretfully accepted the resignation of Ben Maw Chief Executive Officer at their Directors meeting last night. Ben’s resignation will come into effect in January 2021.

The Board of Directors have formed a Recruitment Selection panel, and are working with the Department of Health & Human Services, along with a Health Recruitment specialist agency to find a suitable replacement. This process will take a few months to finalise and an Interim Chief Executive Officer will be appointed in due course.

“Ben joined Cohuna District Hospital as our CEO in July 2018. Since then, under Ben’s leadership we have made very good progress in a number of important areas towards our Vision that We are recognised for Excellence in Rural Healthcare.
