We are back playing cards. How long? don’t know.
8 players turned up with Gwen Campbell scoring 3220; Jim Bond went an extra 1000 scoring 4310 to win mens and womens.
Lucky Door went to the old Geelong supporter in Barry Stacey and the Mystery Number to Laurel Stacey. I may not have playing cards, but my informant told me that someone bought sets of shoes; one set red and the other yellow. This person decided to go down the street yes, you guessed it, she had one red and yellow. Don’t worry she has another pair just the same.
Hopefully next week we can discuss our future.

Doug Billman won the mens with a score of 2930, closely followed by Barry Stacey just 200 behind. The lucky door prize was won by that old Geelong supporter in Barry Stacey and the mystery number was won by Iris Howard, and that old tiger in Brian McLoughlan. Poor Sheila Joss playing with Jim Bond made a mistake that cost them 240 and the rest of the players made fun of Sheila, but it was taken in the right attitude by Sheila and Jim. Hopefully we may have more turned up. Maybe with winter here, we should have a break, but players said to keep going.
