Cohuna Cards - October 9, 2025

12 players again turned up with three in the 90s attending. This club will continue to run even if our numbers start to fall. Hey, we have been going over 70 years and we still keep going until we have no card players left. 

Sheila Joss enjoys her cards and is a great helper after supper and sometimes plays a tad differently than most off so called card sharps won the ladies with a very good score of 2940.

Tiger Des Shelley back after saying goodbye to his relation Daisy, who has gone to live in America, won the mens with a moderate score of 2430. It could have been more but Barney McLoughlan took him down by 180 on the second last hand of the night. The lucky door went to  Barry Stacey who was not at his best after Geelong got thrashed on Saturday.

      The mystery number went to Iris Howard and Michael McGann. The best call of the night was 8 no Trumps {320} by Sheila and Des. We have a couple players on the sick list, hopefully they will be back soon.
