Cohuna Cards - October 15, 2026
On a cold night, 10 players turned up to play cards. We all played each other a few times, but cards were the winners. Gwen Campbell picked up 800 in the last 4 deals to come out winners with a great score of 3750, and Betty McLoughlan with a Score...
Another good roll up with 12 players ready to have a good time. Gwen Campbell set the standard with another good result, winning the Ladies with a score of 2980. Also, Gwen had a birthday!
John Walters was welcomed back and showed he still had the card smarts by winning the Mens with a score of 2880. The Lucky Door went to Laurel Stacey and the Mystery Number, being 1690, went to Cheryl Watts. Laurel Stacey got the Men’s.
The best bid for the night of 8 diamonds {280} went to Lyn Noonan and John Walters. The Snake was awoken to the tune of 240 when Gwen and Doug woke him up. Our 2 new card players have settled in very well and manager Sheila got them out in the kitchen.
