Cohuna Cards - October 12, 2023

Twelve players turned up all ready to win the big prize. The jackpot went off with the two card sharps in Gwen Campbell and Jim Bond going 10 no trumps sharing the money. 

Gwen Campbell easily won the ladies with a great score of 4,130 and Jim Bond back in the winning stalls won the mens with a score of 3,230. Barry ‘the Cat’ Stacey got the lucky door, also the mystery number, and the ladies was won by Iris Howard.

Now for the best part. We celebrated Gwen Campbell having a birthday with cream sponges and other diet-free food made by our president. Also, card players brought some goodies.
