Another good night with a pav and party pies for supper (I forgot to do my sugar this morning). 15 players turned up and that brought the 3-hander in place.
Gwen Campbell, after playing bowls for seven days, still managed to come out on top with the ladies’ with a score of 2,990. Jim Bond, as he said I am having a great run at the moment but it will come to an end shortly, and he got over the line by 50 and again, he made the 3,000 mark to win the men’s.
The lucky door picked out by Jim went to Gwen, and the mystery number went to Joyce Hull and Laurel Stacey, who won cards last week.
Another six weeks of the aggregate finished with Gwen Campbell winning the ladies’ with a score of 16,010, and Jim Bond easily won the men’s with a score of 18,560, which means Jim averaged over 3,000 for six weeks.
Jackpot still rising. No big scores over the night, a lot would have been if (only I knew what was in kitty).
