Cohuna Cards - November 6, 2025

An even dozen turned up to play cards, thankfully we hope the 3 hander has a rest. Scores were on the climb with Laurel Stacey winning the ladies with a score of 3570. The Old Tiger in Brian McLoughlan won the men’s again, with a good score of 3270 to win easily, but next week we will bring him back to earth.

The lucky door went to Doug Billman and the mystery number, which was a high number, went to Lorna Johnson and Barry Stacey.

The last week of the aggregate was played and young Iris Howard won the ladies with a score of 13190, and the mens was won by Des Shelley with a Score of 13780. Yes, scores were down thanks to that 3 hander. Just to explain the 3 hander, each player is on their own, and a spare hand is dealt, and many times it holds Good cards. Sometimes in 4 hands dealt, you might only score a measly 100, and that’s why scores are down.
